This provides a great deal of information about the different aspects of "literacy” and how digital tools can be brought into the service of literacy in the primary school. There is plenty to like in terms of principles, and academic authority. However, it does of course suffer from the facts that the National Curriculum may change soon, and some y the software is no longer available. I also wonder if, in general, there is an optimism about the use of social media like YouTube in schools. The book is very interesting, with many case studies.
