Julie Lindsay and Vicki Davis, the authors of this book, ran several projects which entailed collaboration between students in classrooms in different countries. Although those particular projects are no longer running, as far as I know, and at least some of the links in the book are no longer active, the book is a brilliant compilation of ideas, how-to's, and points to address when setting up your own "flat classroom" project.
