What I'm reading: Cool Coding

A page from Cool Coding.

I’ve started to read Cool Coding, by Rob Hansen and David Weighill. The subtitle is Filled with fantastic facts for kids of all ages. My initial impression is that it reaches a few dizzy heights very quickly. Given how colourful the pages are, and how child-friendly the drawings are, I was quite surprised. Pleasantly so.

The book comes from Pavilion Books, which publishes How to think like a coder (click the link for my review).

This article is very short because it conveys just my first impressions of Cool Coding. I’ll be reviewing it properly in my newsletter, Digital Education.

Here’s a link to the book on Amazon. Please note that it’s an Amazon affiliate link. If you buy the book through that link, I collect a few pennies in order to help feed my book addiction, at no extra cost to you!
