Subscription blues

This is just a very quick announcement, for any subscribers to my newsletter Digital Education who may read my blog. I’ve always made it easy to unsubscribe, but I hadn’t realised just how easy. It seems that people can unsubscribe just by clicking on a link accidentally.

I had assumed that when you click on Unsubscribe you automatically get taken to a page which asks if you’re sure. You click on Yes, and that’s the end of the matter — unless you wish to click on one of the reasons suggested, though that’s not obligatory.

It turns out that one person I know of unsubscribed without realising it. I’ll try and fix that if I can, though it will have to wait until after the Bett show this week. In the meantime, if you’re a subscriber and you haven’t received a newsletter recently (the latest one went out on 20th January 2019), then maybe you’ve accidentally unsubscribed too.
