An inspector calls

If there’s one thing that every teacher dreads it’s a visit from inspectors. As head of department, you’re the one who will be called to account if things are found wanting. So how can you prepare for the almost inevitable knock on the door, and come through the experience not merely unscathed, but triumphant?

I’ve written a generic article about being prepared for an inspection. By “generic” I mean it’s aimed at heads of department in secondary schools, but not confined to a Computing department.
