Where can you get advice that is both free and good?

I don’t think it’s necessarily true that you get what you pay for. Some of the best advice available has been free. But where can you go now for good advice which is also free? I’ve started a new discussion on this topic in one of the Vital forums:

http://www.vital.ac.uk/community/mod/forumng/discuss.php?d=1523

I thought it might be useful to share ideas on where ICT co-ordinators can go for free, and good, advice now that Becta et al have gone. I don’t mean just free courses, but free advice on a day-to-day basis. The advice could be in the form of opinion, based on experience, not hard and fast legalistic-type advice.

I’ve nominated Mirandanet as my first suggestion.
