Walls

Here’s a nice idea for students to use as a basis for writing a blog post, making a video or other form of presentation, or a series of digital photos.

What does the word “wall” mean to you?

I very much like this video, and how the students shown approached it. And the thing is, it’s easily reproducible by your students now!

How uncanny! I have just watched an interview with Gerald Scarfe who did the design for Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'! It is going out on tour again so there will be lots of links around for the topic!

I didn't know it was Gerald Scarfe who did that -- but looking at it again in the light of your comment, it seems obvious! I love that song, and the various videos that have been made for it, and have thought for a while about featuring it in a post here. I have always wondered whether "We don't need no education" is meant to be tongue-in-cheek!
